aqua-mac
As I said above, to get installed, you will have to use a USB DVD drive. Then you will have to boot into Tiger on a real mac or a hackintosh and replace a few kexts. I take it you have not actually installed yet and you are getting "still waiting for root device" when you put in the DVD and not when you boot an installation. If you have the option in your bios you must set to AHCI, not raid if you are installing to Sata HDD's. If you can get as far as actually installing then I can put up the kexts you need for download to get your installation to boot. If you have access to an Intel mac, there is also a way to clone to a HDD and getting it to boot using PC EFI. Aqua-mac I have just installed the retail DVD using mod 132 bootloader on a P35 DS3L and I am getting an 'still waiting for root device' when booting without the CD (from the HD - SATA). I'm sure you are familiar with this issue. I notice that you posted some kexts to use. I'm a bit of a noob and I'm not sure what to do. In bios I don't have any options for SATA to be changed.
