I am currently using the Asus P5LD2-VM which has the best compatibility I know of and tested.

Because almost everything works out of the box but it lacks the support for the faster RAM,

which isnt TOO MUCH have a big deal for most and... I mean you can never get fast enough can you? LOL

So as per topic, Does anyone know the current best motherboard for Hackintosh?

Such as support for,

1066MHz FSB

800MHz DDR2

Working SATA2 & IDE without patching

Working onboard LAN (Not too fussed, PCI LAN cards dont cost much these days)

Working Audio

So yeah... maybe we can throw some ideas around and keep a list or something?

Cos the wiki seems very outdated and lack updating of late...

Ok, sorry to drag up old/dead(ish) posts, but this is the one that comes up on google, as well as on this sites search function.

I was asking over on Tom's Hardware about the best motherboards for a hackintosh with an i7-930 processor. Was figuring I'd also buy an NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 as the graphics card off of amazon. I've been doing a lot of searching, and I can't seem to find anything that's up to date. So has anyone built one recently and know of a good mobo that works with little/no patching?
