N0WH3R3K1D
Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron B120 Hackintosh running OSX 10.4.8 with no problems whatsoever, except for DVD Player playing my DVDs completely slow. It seems the frame rate is lessened to such a degree that movies just can't be watched on here, so I have to resort to VLC. I would personally rather use the DVD Player software that comes with OSX. Does anyone have this same problem? And is there anyone who can help solve this issue? I would greatly appreciate it. Paulo Greimel
Does your graphics card support QE/CI? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/60434-dvd-player-isplaying-dvds-extremely-slow/#findComment-430289 Share on other sites
N0WH3R3K1D
Yea, my computer does support QE and CI. My graphics card is the Intel 915GM. Graphics work really well on my system, but for some reason unknown to me, DVD Player just displays DVDs at ridiculously slow speeds, whereas VLC displays them at perfect speed. However, I like to use Front Row, so I want to find out how to tweak DVD Player into actually working. Is there anyone who has this same problem?
