ChickenFlu
i have this hp desktop....bout 3-4 years old....its got a Ati Radeon 9200SE graphic card (128MB). MacOSX is just superb!!! sound quality is perfect....but when i play videos sometimes they get stuck and they go on playing without audio and the audio comes back only when i pause and unpause....cover flow not supported.....is there ANY way to get this card supported....or OpenGL working? Thanks! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/60361-9200se-problems/ Share on other sites
OriginalMACNUT
There is no support for 9200 cards. The lack of a complete driver, you might look into getting a newer ati cards or nVidia card. karmatose
Im using an ATI Radeon 7500 Mobility (M7) w/OGL and QE. You might try getting the "Radeon 7500 pack" and editing in your dev id's. I doubt it will work, but at this point its worth a shot, right? ChickenFlu
there might be a way to fix those 9200 and 9250, has anyone tried flashing the videocard? ok now i have absolutely NO IDEA what that means Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/60361-9200se-problems/#findComment-434320 Share on other sites
Yaniv Ragasaydiv
ok what silvercool is talking about is flashing the bios of your video card.. it basically updates any firmware/blah blah fixes and some tweaks etc onto ur card. have you ever heard of unlocking pipelines etc... yea. but i think thats a bit extreme though might work.nd mite even render ur card useless.. do me a favour.. open up xp and then load some hd video and tell me how much ur cpu utilisation is.. edit--- http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/mac/mac...-3x-radeon.html check that out.. might just wok.. backup and try..
