snelephant
Hi, Using the uphuck 1.3 install, OSX boots successfully on this IBM Thinkpad T40, but no network devices are visible in the hardware list. Also, system preferences crashes upon clicking the "network" icon (all other preference settings work normally.) Reinstalling the IOnetworking package did not fix the problem. I believe the ethernet is intel PRO 10/100/1000. Others have succeeded with networking on the T41, which has identical networking components. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. btre
Mine is T42, and I tried uphuck 1.2 before and no luck on networking, then I used the Jas 10.4.8, it worked. then I upgraded to 10.4.9 then 10.4.10 manually I think the Jas one is better. snelephant
Thanks for the suggestion btre, I'll try the JAS 10.4.8 install. By the way, if the JAS 10.4.8 install works, how does one update to more recent versions as you suggest?
