Exekatl
Hi there, i'm kind of new in this world of the hackintosh. I've been using mac os on my laptop a couple of months and i like it a lot. I started with Jas 10.4.8 ppf sse2 sse3 (something like that) and it worked great, almost everything worked with the proper patches. Now i downloaded uphuck v1.4i 10.4.9 (intel only), and installed it. Almost everything worked out of the box in the first boot, almost everything but my broadcom 440x. Everytime i tried to set the network preferences, it crashed. I found a file (i don't remember where) called wlan.zip, and some instructions. i followed and now the network preferences pane works. I also tried IONetWorkingFamily.kext and IOPCIFamily.kext that i used in Jas 10.4.8 version to make my broadcom 440x to work back then. It didn't work completely. My ethernet is detected but it can't connect by itself, i have to manually input my ip, router and that stuff, and in the network preferences pane it appears that is connection (green light), but when i open safari, it won't open any page at all. I tried with network diagnostics from safari and i can see 4 or 5 indicator to the left: ethernet configuration, ISP, internet, etc (i don't remember the names, sorry), and only the first two indicators are in green, the other three are in red. Sometimes the ISP (red indicator) turn green for a moment, but quickly turns red again. I verified and the ip, router and other info are properly input (i saved a text file with my ethernet config from my Jas config). Is there any way to make this work? Thanx in advance. My specs are: Acer Aspire 5610 1 GB Ram Centrino Duo T2050 1.60 GHz HD 120 GB Wireless intel 3945abg (no drivers yet, i know) Mobile intel 945 Express (working with gma900 drivers) ENE PCI Memory Stick Card Reader Controller (doesn't work either, can't find any driver or solution) Realtek High Definition Audio (works nice with Azalia drivers) Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller (help please!)
