StealthMode
I am upgrading to an AMD Opteron dual core CPU to replace my A64 3200+. Is it as simple as dropping it in, or will I have to reinstall my 10.4.10 install, or do any tweaks...? Or will OSX automatically detect it and everything will be ok? Thanks! Synaesthesia
Yes, if your motherboard is compatible etc, you just drop it in and go. Just be careful of esd! StealthMode
Thanks, I'm not too worried about the physical part of the install, I build all my computers, so thats no biggy. I'm more concerned with OSX not recognizing a new CPU or something.
