macintoshlover
Hi, I was wondering if anybody knows how to get this working. I have a Compaq Presario V6409TU Laptop. I installed JaS OS X 10.4.8 SSE2 SSE3 with GMA 950 Patch. But on booting to OS X and then restarting or shutting down results in a kernel panic. Also the laptop won't wake from sleep. The configuration of the laptop is: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.73 Ghz Intel 945GM Chipset Intel 950GM Graphics 1 GB RAM 120 GB HD Broadcom Wireless Intel Pro VE 10/100 Ethernet Ricoh 5-in-1 Card Reader Conexant HD Audio Conexant HDAUDIO Soft Data Fax Modem with SmartCP Pioneer DVD Drive Please help me, how I can get this to work? Thank you. Note: Audio, Modem, WiFi, Ethernet, Card Reader are not fuctioning right now. Still working on trying available patches for them. ergosteur
Same problem, JaS 10.4.8. Aspire 5570Z+Dell 1390 WLAN The output from the kernel panic seems to be from the Broadcom AirPort kext. Does the wireless card work for you? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/59989-kernel-panic-on-shutdown-restart/#findComment-509959 Share on other sites
