DruDragon
Hi i don't know if i posted this in the right forum section, but any way... I currently got Mac OS X 10.4.3 (81111g) on my P.C, i have several questions: 1) Why does it take quite a long time to boot into the Desktop, whereas this video it boots quite fast: http://www.lanecampbell.com/osx86.avi My specs: AMD Athlon 64 3500, Nvidia 6800 Ultra, Gigabyte K8NS-939 Mobo, Marvell Yukon On Board LAN, 1.5 MB Corsair DDR-SDRAM. His Specs were: 1.7ghz Centrino 1.5gb DDR333 60gb 7200rpm ATI Radeon 9700 Mobility Intel 855 Chipset Intel 802.11 a/b/g wifi (2915 model) So is it because there is something wrong with my installation, or is it just that it runs faster on Intel chipsets?? 2) Second question, i have a Marvell Yukon OnBoard Lan as mentioned above in specs, i followed the Tulip guide, and inputted the Vendor ID and Device ID as mentioned in the guide. However, after i save the file and then type "kextload tulip.kext", it shows this error: I have been following the guide at this link: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Networking_Tulip and following this instructions: Save the file(Ctrl-X and select yes) then do a cd .. cd .. kextload tulip.kext and go and check in the network properties if the network card is detected... If it isnt type in kextunload tulip.kext nano Info.plist Please if someone can help, really want internet access !
