Hey Guys,

ok heres the deal. I bought a Macbook last year and love it, its all the computer I'll ever need (which wont stop me building a Hac in October for gaming and such, but thats another matter). Thing is, I'm going on holiday to Europe (Amsterdam-Berlin-Prague-Vienna-Munich-Paris on a rail card) in September, for about 2 weeks and need a laptop to take with me. By 'take with me' I mean 'not £800 worth of laptop waiting to get nicked/damaged'. The Asus Eee PC has been delayed for a while, so I thought about a Wallstreet/Lombard and began to scour eBay. As look would have it, a Pismo with the following specs turned up locally and is now on reserve for me for collection on monday....

CPU 500Mhz

RAM 384MB

HDD 60GB

DVD-ROM

OS X 10.4 install

... for £140ono (ie. £125 ;-)) It's a little bit more than I was hoping to spend, but it should be more than up to the job. What do you guys think? Is that a good price for a Pismo? I've seen them go for much more than that. Is there anything I should look for on Monday? The battery is apparently in good order, as is the screen and the usual suspects.

Any comments appreciated!
