hey everyone. i have the latest 9a499 build. it works great on my brothers machine, but i cant even get it to install on mine...

i have a dual g5 2.0

i have dled and burned the same version two different times, the exact file from my brother which works fine for him, but not for me. everything acts as it should, except when i start the installation before it even starts the process, it says can not install os x. check your internet connection or media.

does this make sense to anyone? i have no hard internet, just airport. but why would that make a difference. anyone? thanks!!

that forum doesn't really have help to the problem, don't post links promoting a forum if it doesn't even have a solution to a problem, I'm having this problem too, if i do the restore to disk via disk utility method, at install i get to installing essentials and then it says theres some problems with the essentials, if i use carbon copy cloner to copy the leo install to a partition it gets stuck at the gray boot screen, btw i dont have a dvd dl so im trying to install it without a dvd dl, and both ways its not really working but i think its something with permissions

Your much more likely to get your question of Leopard answered at the new forum then here. There are friendly people who don't mind sharing what they know about Leopard. Here maybe you'll get an answer or maybe it will be deleted before you get a chance to read it. Also most of the people who know the answers are no longer here. Sorry if you'd rather people are kept in the dark .
