– Build 8G9 adds about two dozen fixes since build 8G7, mostly related to Bluetooth and the MS DOS filesystem. The usual .Mac iDisk syncing and WebCore improvements that seem accompany every OS updated are also wrapped into the newest build of Mac OS X 10.4.4.

Rogue coders have once again cracked the security mechanism that Apple has put in place to tie Mac OS X for Intel to its hardware.

Ummm, why is this 'news'?

10.4.4 is already up to 8G22. 8G9? Come on. :D

Someone please close this thread. It's pointless. The reference to "intel being cracked again" was for 10.4.3, which isn't news. And 10.4.4 hasn't been reported on x86, yet...

Yes, thank you, however, that page reads:

10.4.1 for Developer Transition Kit 8B1025

10.4.2 pre-release 8C21, 8C26, 8C27, 8C29, 8C32, 8C33, 8C40, 8C44

10.4.2 for Developer Transition Kit 8B1072

10.4.3 pre-release 8F8, 8F15, 8F16, 8F20, 8F23, 8F28, 8F31, 8F45

10.4.3 for Developer Transition Kit 8F1111A

10.4.4 pre-release 8G7, 8G9, 8G17, 8G22

Notice the "for Developer Transition Kit" beside the releases that do exist on Intel, and nothing beside the ones that were released for PPC. 8G7 8 17 and 22 are for PPC... The proof is right there. :censored2:
