TheCoolNerds
Hey dudes, whats up. Well, i have XP installed on its own SATA HDD, i have VISTA on its own SATA HDD, i have MAC OS X sharing a partition with LINUX MANDRIVA. The problem is when i installed GRUB and set the boot devices and names it goes into the wrong OS. example, i set up to go into WINDOWS XP, it goes into VISTA, i set up to go into VISTA it goes into XP, but i get these 2 weird options and it goes nowhere. Now i cant even get into linux.... but if i boot off of a HDD using the BOOT DEVICE method (Pressing f12) i can easily go into VISTA, or XP... anyone know how to fix it? cbmkgd
make sure you have the right disk numbers for xp and vista in grub. use 'map' to make the target disk the boot disk. the more details you give, the better the help you'll get.
