Woah, that's scary.

You actually own a weapon that could kill someone, as is designed to do so.

Why though? The only use a gun has is to kill. Would you kill someone?

In the U.S. we have the Constitution.

Governments love disarmed peasants.

If you ACTUALLY do live in Scotland, you need to look up a movie called "Braveheart".

My father's mother's side comes from the castle of the "Dollars".

Do your research.

The only thing more dangerous than a standing army is the ignorance of the public.

BTW. You are off topic.

Sorry, I'm British, and in the UK, we care about our safety over the right to shoot someone...

Also, Braveheart is the most inaccurate film ever made, IMHO.

Also, that was hundreds of years ago, before we learned how to be civilised :D (I'm English anyway)

Yea, tell that to your EU master Tony Blair.

EDIT: And your Bio says Scotland. So you are a liar, and I will treat you that way.

EDIT: And you failed to address U.S. Law, which is the Constitution, and the 2nd amendment.

Tony Blair was a swine, and most the UK agrees with me.

I live in Scotland, was born in England, but I support the union of Great Britain, so it's irrelevant. (I tend to say Scotland because many Americans I know have said "do you live in London", if I have said UK. The fact is, I live closer to Iceland than London :D )

EDIT: As for the US constitution, I disagree with the "right to bear arms", because I don't think ordinary people should be allowed such dangerous weapons.

But does the EU? It sounds like he is going to be the master of the EU.

Does your country, um I mean, Union allow you to protect yourself from Tyranny? No. You need a history lesson. Read about Switzerland, and why Hitler was scared to death of them, and would not dare to attack them. Those little cameras in London are the result of you not being armed.

Pencils mis-spell words just as much as guns kill.

If the pen is mightier than the sword, then let me ask you this. Do you trust your leaders?

Freedom IS free, but it's inflation is high.

EDIT: It sounds to me like you give up your right to overthrow tyranny.

Bow before the one you serve, you are going to get what you deserve.

There is no need for guns in a democratic country. If tyranny exists, we have the right to vote it out. Unlike America, we have much more pressure on our government. Tony Blair didn't leave because he was tired and old. He left because the British people demanded it, and put pressure on him.

The CCTV across the UK protect us, and I am a supporter of CCTV. We don't need to be armed.

The UK has a lower homicide rate than the US - need I say any more?

I do trust our government. But if you trust your government you must be raving mad!

Read about Sparta, and their victory over tyranny. And if Sparta was un-armed?

You can't vote out a military force, any more than France could have voted out Hitler.

Oh Boo hoo. Government save me from the big bad man with the gun. Your government has guns you fool.

Welcome to the new age of privacy errosion, freedom erosion, and all for false security.

"He who sacrifices liberty for false security deserves neither, and will loose both" - Benjamin Franklin

You don't even know what democracy is? Do you?

"Democracy is two wolves and a sheep meeting to vote on what is for dinner. Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote." - Ben Franklin

I have never met a person so willing to march to slavery.

But in case you haven't noticed, my government isn't ran by idiots and fools anymore...

:(

Sounds foolish coming from me, but I have never known someone so paranoid.

If no-one believes in democracy, it can't work. Simple.

And yet your name is Paranoid Marvin. I can taste the Irony.

Democracy is %51 of the populous telling the other %49 what to do, you fool.

The fact that history ALWAYS repeats itself is paranoia, Yea, you are right. Really right. Whoo whoo.

Go back to your political indoctornation camp, and have them teach you what a Republic is.

Just for reference, this is the original "paranoid marvin". I am merely a HHG2TG fan. I'm not actually paranoid.

Dude seriously, shut up, you constantly come on these forums and rant like a crazy person without a shred of logic and reason to what you are saying, its people like YOU who give Americans a bad name. You prance around constantly bad mouthing other countries and their systems without actually taking an honest look at your own country's shortcomings and what we ought to do about it.

Paranoid Marvin is right, European citizens do put more pressure on their governments than we do, thats why college and healthcare is free in France and they only work 30-35 hours a week.

As opposed to our country where corporations have more rights than real people do hahah. Seriously before you go badmouthing another culture, take an honest look at your own. Take the blinders off please, for all of our sakes.

Wow this went from "show me what weaps you have" to an argument in less than 24 hours... A NEW RECORD! Congrats.

back on topic... I dont own any guns. I did go to a shooting range with my uncle when I was in the Carolinas, and yeah it was kinda fun, but I dont see a need to keep a gun in a house that is protected by a security system and is in a decent neighborhood. And best of all a cop lives right down the street, so I feel pretty safe where I am.

I could see someone who lives in a vurnerable area to keep a small firearm maybe for self-defense purposes. But anything more than a pistol with a clip of bullets is overkill. I think if you live somewhere rural where you may be a target haveing your home broken into, then I think that justifies the idea of owning a gun. The knife though, is a little... much.

Killbot, I think it is OBVIOUS my stance on "worldly" affairs. The UK is facing the EU. America is facing the NAU.BUT HERE. We have the a way to defend ourselves. And talk is churning far and wide about it outside of the mainstream media. My culture is freedom. What is yours?

The knife is for stripping the flesh from the 12 point that I just blew a 3 inch hole in with a .50 cal Remmington. What a mess. Maybe I should settle for the 270 with ballistic hollow points next time.Try video cameras too, they work well. I have 6 outside my place with flood lights on motion detectors. Although my cat, Constantine tends to trigger them maybe once every few months.OH YEA. I feel REAL safe with the POLICE there! Oh government save me from the bad people, gun owners, terrorists, whatever!
Now you get my point?

Here's mine.

I am from the Netherlands, do not regard Tony Blair as the 'master of the EU' nor his successor. Will my opinion count? I am curious, perhaps fact that I have lived in the US for quite some time will change things just a little bit. I've lived in St.Louis as a matter of fact. I am known to get by without a foreign accent in fact do sound like a native of Missourah. But I can also sound very British or Canadian. Speak/write quite a number of languages actually. It's not just the accent it is also the mannerisms and way people dress that give people away - once you notice these things and compensate for it interesting things can occur.

I have visited a number of small towns in the neighborhood of St.Louis that were populated by gun-carrying residents that often were scared sh*tl*ss the moment they discovered I was a f*ck*ng foreigner from the Netherlands. I dressed and acted the same as my native co-workers and then I proceeded with my duties in the medical capacity giving medical aid which was the reason for my visits. So foreigners can blend in is that where these gun-carrying residents were afraid of? It could have been my hight 6'8" hehehe!

My culture is Empathy, kindness, and understanding....without these three things liberty (or freedom) means nothing, since without Empathy, kindness, and understanding, one is free to {censored} another person over only because they can....I don't want to live in that kind of world, do you?

I believe in freedom, but freedom with standards...not anarchy (which is total freedom)

Also I agree that the police are not going to save us or do anything to help us if the government decides to collapse someday, we will have to protect ourselves, but that day hasn't arrived yet and until it has, or until it is imminent, it is stupid to act like it has...

Paranoid Marvin,

Even if I don't have a British passport, I feel the same pride about the UK as you do.

I am also proud of the EU: 27 countries come together totally out of their free will.

Unfortunately I don't feel much proud about Italy, and the reasons why not are countless.

It is fortunate that %97 of the population here does not want the NAU.

Damn, why you guys bickering like politicians who I see on TV bashing each other with chairs and microphones. That's some hilarious {censored}. Almost as good as Ultimate Fighting.

Some of us thrive in chaos and I hope OryHara will not disappoint us. All talk and no action. Show us some videos of what you can do with the gun and knife. That's more interesting.
