minnie
Hi All. OK, so I set up a test machine using Jas 10.4.8 on a 3.2 ghz P4/ ASRock P4i65G. all good. I've just put together another machine with Intel e440 2ghz core2 duo/ ASRock 4coredual-VSTA board, same software etc', and the SAME IDE DRIVE. It all installed fine except that my XBench scores for the Hard Disk have dropped dramatically. what looks like 40mps to about 12 or so. Does anyone know what's going on? timewise
Hi, I had slow hard drive performance similar to yours until I disabled UDMA in the bios. Good luck Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58912-ide-hd-speed-gone-slow/#findComment-440671 Share on other sites
