z3r01 Posted August 2, 2007 Share Posted August 2, 2007 i have a hp pavilion dv8000 laptop -AMD turion 64 ML-40 2.2GHz, 1mb L2 cache sse2,sse3 -ati radeon xpress 200M -1gb ram -200GB HDD (two 100GB HDD) now i tried uphucks cd's...none boot up... i tried goatsecDVD10.4.6 , that was ok then i tried: Mac OS X 10.4.9 Intel SSE3 [JaS 10.4.8 AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2.iso + JaS.10.4.9.Combo.Update.Intel.SSE3.zip] and worked good but i had to remove a HDD because it gave me a services.plist thing and then it tried to boot up thru realtek network blah blah blah... heres my problem now.... i loved JaS cd cuz i was at 10.4.9 but then i wanted to run protools but it gave me problems...so then i updated using pascalw 10.4.10 update and got a laucht.applie.ni...somthing and read in here that told me to get uphucks 1.3 dvd and just install the appleACIP i think...but that juss messed the whole thing .... so , does anyone kno which cd i should use that better for me and which update? i =m pretty sure that my machine has sse3 because of this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMD_T...microprocessors Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58798-hp-dv8000/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
