Eidola
I have just upgraded from Jas 10.4.9 to 10.4.10 using Koolkal's update... which went perfectly I must say.. however, an issue I had in 10.4.9 has not gone away. Whenever I right click in some applications strange things occur... In Mail.app, for example, the first right click I do will cause a new Mail window to open. When I close this window subsequent right-clicks do not cause a new window to appear. This can be repeated every time I close Mail.app and re-open it. In Audium.app right clicking on any contact on the list causes almost every menu entry in the program to double, or triple in the case of the Contacts menu, and then the program usually bombs out. I have tried turning off SIMBL which did not solve the problem. Has anyone encountered this issuse at all and possibly have a solution for it? alc0h0lic
I had that problem some time ago, I couldn't find a fix for it. Finally I downloaded and installed from the Jas.10.4.8.PPF1+PPF2.iso image and everything was ok. It's very annoying, especially in Adium and Transmission... Eidola
I actually found the problem! It was the application Springy, according to the developers forums there was an issue with v1.2 and the Sparkle framework it used. I upgraded to the latest version and it is now working correctly, though there does seem to be a bit of a delay now when opening context menus... I am going to test if that is also related to Springy. So, if you are running v1.2 or earlier of Springy and have odd issues with right clicking try upgrading or uninstalling the program.
