Thinking of getting a new Mac

So, for my birthday in November I was thinkin' of having my parents getting me a Macbook

I wanna get rid of Windows completely

 

I've got Vista Ultimate and Leopard looks alot more promising.

 

Think that they'll have new Macbooks by the time November rolls around?

 

And if they don't, do you think I should wait till a new Macbook comes out before I get one?

Well, the MacBook series has just been upgraded so I doubt there will be any modifications until November 1st (I could be wrong). The only reason I could think of getting the MacBook later would be to get Leopard with it instead of Tiger.

But do you think that after the release of Leopard that they will update the Macbook lineup?

If they haven't updated it by the time it hits November I'm just gonna get a Macbook.

 

You'd think they'd update them just before the holiday season though, to spark interest.

Good choice! They're nice laptops. Of course you can still run windows too, so what's there to lose?

 

They *might* upgrade them to include LED-backlit screens, but it won't be a major upgrade in terms of speed. They're pretty damn fast as it is, and I think the best value macs around, so if you wanna get one, do so now!
