strwdle
Has anyone had any luck running this yet? I'm planning on using OSX on my PC to run pro tools but obviously it's a waste of time if they aren't compatible. many thanks Owen Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58453-osx86-and-m-audio-firewire-solo/ Share on other sites
yoda75
I've tried opening some sessions on my hackintosh just to see if it would work. I experienced no problems when I did. Keep in mind that my hackintosh is not my audio machine so YMMV. strwdle
That's good to know-thanks for the reply. I suppose it should work considering that it's a piece of hardware that's designed to run on OSX. I suppose the key issue is whether the firewire card is compatible? badge
working great here, and quite an upgrade from my g4/733. I no longer have to repeatedly bounce sessions down to reduce the track count.
