wgefert
Greetings, first of all sorry for my English, I really need help with installation my graphic card. I have installed uphuck_10.4.9_universal_dvd_v1.3 and I cant make my graphic cart full working. I tried almost everything calisto drivers, editing ATIRadeon9700.kext, calisto and Kext Helper, ATIDriverProject, even some kind of self installed driver but nothing works not even single change. Maybe someone have the same card and the same problem and can help be I will by very grateful. I have GeCube ATI Radeon 9550 256MB (R9550-D3H) but my Windows XP recognize it as ATI Radeon 9600 XT (RV360) with ATI RADEON 9600 Series AGP (0x4152) chip. In my hackintosh I always see something like this: Display: Type: Display Bus: PCI VRAM (Total): 256 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x4152 Revision ID: 0x0000 Kernel Extension Info: No Kext Loaded Displays: Display: Resolution: 1024 x 768 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Not Supported Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported Can anybody help me and write how install property drivers step by step?? Headrush69
Search on AGPGART. There are several threads about this. Your problem is it's being recognized as a PCI card, not an AGP card.
wgefert
Thanks for answer but it was only my mystic because when I install my os last time (about 1h before I written that post) I didn’t install AGPGART 2.2 driver like I always do (I was hoped that this will change something). Now it looks like that: Display: Type: Display Bus: AGP VRAM (Total): 256 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x4152 Revision ID: 0x0000 Kernel Extension Info: No Kext Loaded Displays: Display: Resolution: 1024 x 768 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Not Supported Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported And always when I tried install drivers look that way. But problems didn’t disappear.
Scrizz
You should try using older versions of the ATIRadeon9700 kexts and editing them
