Innanzitutto volevo sapere se la mia scheda scheda madre (ASUS P4B) supporta il boot da usb per macosx86 10.4.8... oppure se c'è un modo per farglieo fare... ho questa necessità perchè nel mio pc non ci sono più spazi per hd e non ho la possibilità di ripartizionare i dischi. poi volevo sapere se il mio hrdware è compatibile: ASUS P4B + Pentium4 1.7ghz Radeon9000atlantis pro Soundblaster live (se non è compatibile utilizzo qll della schede madre) 1 gb di ram 4 porte usb2.0 (le ho aggiunte io) + 2 porte usb 1.1 (nella scheda madre) + 2 porte usb 1.1 ci sarebbe un modo di utilizzare questo benedetto osx!? 756 Posted July 26, 2007 Author Share Posted July 26, 2007 avevo già cercato solo che l'unica frase che riguarda l'usb è questa: "Fix some USB devices can not work properly after the system resumed from S3." fonte: http://support.asus.com/download/download....SLanguage=en-us chiedevo perchè magari si poteva attivare con qualche patch o in altri modi... un'altra cosa che aggiungo è che il bios è aggiornato (il file era 1013.004) e c'è l'opzione: usb legacy support... non è che percaso ha qualcosa a che fare con il boot? stationapollo Posted July 27, 2007 Share Posted July 27, 2007 756 io ho montato un sacco di QDI per Pentium 3 (Apollo, bei tempi) e oggi, quando tornano in assistenza, riescono a bootare da lettori DVD esterni. Comunque ci sono parecchie schede madri che non menzionano questa funzionalità ma che in realtà ne sono provviste. Io ho avuto un P4B (bella scheda davvero: stabile e performante) con un Celeron 1,7ghz: a me sembra che funzionava. Non ti resta che provare. p.S. hai pensato a quanto è veloce tiger su un HD usb? penso che sarà abbastanza limitato dai colli di bottiglia della USB.
