If you are running 8f1111a(g), xcode 2.2 and have an ATI card, you might want to try some of this out. In /Developer/Examples/Quartz Composer/Motion Graphics Compositions there are several Quartz graphics demos that are quite sweet. There are some additional sample programs spread around in the dev area, but these are the neatest thus far. Just for a sense of comparision, on:
