VooD
Works using uphuck´s 1.4i (couldn´t get sata disk recognized in 10.4.8 vp1 du7). - Ethernet is working (with realtek drivers included in the dvd) - Sata seems fast according to Xbench - Firewire working out of the box - Sound not working (but I didn´t try making a dump of the codec in linux yet), at the moment solved with a cheap conceptronic usb sound card. I only have one SATA HD, after install, it does not boot. Jacky I used uphuck 10.4.9 v1.3 and used the yellow/orange to install in bios i enabled sata - achi port 0 -3 - enabled controler - enabled controller - achi and it booted and worked fine. using jas 10.4.8 I placed the hd in the purple slot disabled first two options and put the controller on ide and it worked fine.. jl8080
I used uphuck's 1.3 DVD, all working fine on my P35-DS3P - really nice motherboard. Q6600 (G0) @ 2.4GHz (may overclock once thermal paste is ready for it) 4 x 1GB Crucial Ballistix @ 800mhz (also going to overclock this) XFX 7900GT 256mb @ Stock (working, Titan drivers) 500GB Samsung Spinpoint T166 (sata seems fast) Firewire and USB all working Sound NOT working, but I use an Edirol FA-66 Firewire device (Sound Design student) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58032-gigabyte-p35-ds3p-working/#findComment-441445 Share on other sites
Khid
Glad you guys got this one working! I have a brand new DS3p for sale. 135.00 shipped. It's tested and working. I went with P5k E instead cause it got me 3.6 - 3.8Ghz on my Quad w/lower voltages.
