jthemovie
hello everybody, i'm pulling my hair since last night trying to mount my samba share (debian server) on my mac os x 10.4.9 uphuck's dvd with no success yet when i type in a terminal: mount_smbfs '//linuxiou;samba_jackass:isnot4u2no@192.168.0.4/ZIK_FILMS' /Users/jack/Desktop/record/ i get this error: mount_smbfs: mount error: /Users/jack/Desktop/record: syserr = Invalid argument I've also try with finder and Pomme+k without no success: error 50 I've "tailed" (dunno is this word exist lol) the system.log file and i've saw that each time i wan to connect my samba share i had this following error: mount version mismatch: kernel=103600, mount=103500 so i've check my mount_smbfs version: mount_smbfs -v and the result was 1.3.5 so i've checked the smbfs extension's key and the version is 1.3.6, i understand now why he wouldn't connect so if anyone has the file mount_smbfs v1.3.6, usually located in /sbin directory U can check by typing "which mount_smbfs" on a terminal, if he can upload me somewhere or contact me by pm please Big thanks in advance Special thanks to Uphuck who provide me the file , if anyone want the file too, contact me by pm Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58027-solvedi-need-mount_smbfs-v-136-please/ Share on other sites
