gyasih Posted July 24, 2007 Share Posted July 24, 2007 I am running 10.4.10 (Tubgirl) on a Asus A8n-Sli-deluxe, X2 3800 AMD 64. Everything i need to work is working except my microsoft webcam and my second disk drive. I have a HP DVD writer (1040i)-works flawlessly. It functions as the master and I have a stock phillips DVD player from and old Gateway computer. My system is not picking up the Phillips dvd player any suggestions. They are both on my secondary IDE channel.Any help would be appreciated. Earlier is said phillips hdd, but it is a dvd player-philips drom6216 ATA, according to vista device manager.
