ziglg
Hey guys, I have a cheapo acer aspire 3680 (listed on the wiki that it works with jas 10.4.8) and I tried installing a copy of 10.4.5 that I aquired previously. after the darwin boot screen i get the gray apple screen and then I get the kernel panic (screen goes dark says you need to restart). I really dont want to get the 10.4.8 if I'm going to have the same issue. or, if there is a way to patch my 10.4.5 to the working (i hope) 10.4.8 i'd rather do that. anyone know what to look for? OR I have regular macs and 10.4.8 dvds, can i patch those with a smaller download? btw the acer is a celeron M 1.8 that supports sse3, all intel mobo graphics etc Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/57960-kernel-panic-with-1045-install/ Share on other sites
Guest Ramm
If the wiki said 10.4.8 works, then download it. Just make sure to apply any patches the wiki says to apply.
