fishyeah Posted July 23, 2007 Share Posted July 23, 2007 Dear all I came across a strange problem: Under terminal, some NTFS directories shown as empty (contain 0 file) and some files shown as 0-byte. Although everything seems to be normal under Finder, if you share these directories or files, a remote Windows machine cannot access such files/directories. If you try to access such directories within a Terminal, it works fine, and once they are accessed once under Terminal/Finder, the problem disappears. What causes such problem? It's really annoying for file sharing with another Windows machine. Initially I thought it's a bug in the SharePoints software. Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
