PC versions of popular games (such as Call of Duty 2, Quake 4, Doom 3, Halo, Stubbs the Zombie, ... ) are usually available in much more language versions than Mac versions of the same games. It means that the translations were already done and if PC language resources (fonts, texts, speech, video, textures, ...) are cross-platform or can be converted to the format used in Mac version then it is possible to substitute them into Mac version.
