mami007
Is it possible to install bootcamp in hackintosh 10.4.8? Does it have problems? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/57809-problems-of-bootcamp/ Share on other sites
erbic
Boot Camp only works on real Intel Macs. It requires EFI, which Hackintoshes don't have. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/57809-problems-of-bootcamp/#findComment-412888 Share on other sites

Adrian Fogge
EFI is a new BIOS implementation that allows for a lot of things that really have not been possible under a conventional BIOS. See the wikipedia article on Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) As far as your dual booting is concerned, there are plenty of dual booting guides available. Do a search on google for the OSx86 Project; it is a sister site to this one and it has a few really great dual-booting guides in bullet-point fashion for anyone who can't bother reading a howto aticle.
