damesj
Im pretty new to mac osx and this might seem like a stupid question but how do you organize a list of items by type and name. For instance in my documents folder I would like osx to list all my subfolders first alphabetically then individual documents alphabetically. Right now all it does is sort everything alphabetically so all my folders are all over the place. Any insight would be apperciated. Thanks. rezwits
Did you try clicking the "kind tab", that should put your folders in a group by themself although what you are looking for, just by the mere sound of it, seems like OS X's is to limited for you, but I don't know, you could try a shareware app, but its hard to get something that modifies those finder windows extensively.
