I would give you guys this kind of problems detailed information listed below: SAM Multimedia: Read or Write failed, ASC=0x02, ASCQ=0x00Creating RAM Disk for /Volumes Warning: .......................... ....................................... Super-block backups (for fsck -b #)at; 32 ....................................... Creating RAM Disk for /var/run Waring: ............................ ....................................... Super-block backups (for fsck -b #)at; 32 ....................................... SAM Multimedia: Read or Write failed, ASC=0x02, ASCQ=0x00 SAM Multimedia: Read or Write failed, ASC=0x02, ASCQ=0x00 SAM Multimedia: Read or Write failed, ASC=0x02, ASCQ=0x00 SAM Multimedia: Read or Write failed, ASC=0x02, ASCQ=0x00 SAM Multimedia: Read or Write failed, ASC=0x02, ASCQ=0x00 SAM Multimedia: Read or Write failed, ASC=0x02, ASCQ=0x00 SAM Multimedia: Read or Write failed, ASC=0x02, ASCQ=0x00 ........................................ and this kind of problem: SAM Multimedia: Read or Write failed, ASC=0x02, ASCQ=0x00 comes out again and again, I dont even get it, so what does it mean??? hecker Posted July 20, 2007 Share Posted July 20, 2007 Could be that your drive is not jumpered/attached correctly or faulty media. Make sure you burn the install DVD with the slowest available speed (1x if possible). Also, there are posts referring to this error. Use google and the forums search function. rerven Posted July 20, 2007 Author Share Posted July 20, 2007 Should i burn it again with much more slower speed ? I didnt own DVD RW, i just burnt it in a distant way.. It's not convenient. Is there any ways to make it work ? Or to slow down the speed of DVD ROM manually ?? I really dont know how to figure it out, can you guys give me some listed information about this???
