takeawaydave
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>rd=disk0s2</string> <key>Boot Graphics</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>4</string> </dict> </plist> Here's my com.apple.Boot.plist. I want darwin boot loader to automatically load os x which resides on partition 2 of disk 0. Its a similar problem to seemingly unresolved thread forum.insanelymac.com/lofiversion/index.php/t2948.html I have vista on partition1 - I have set up vista boot loader with the two OS option. OS X options sends me to darwin loader after I push F8 - if I don't I'm sent back to Vista bootloader. I assume if I do nothing option 1 (which is Windows) on the darwin bootloader is selected by default. Its a small thing in the whole scale of things going on in the world but i'd like option 2 to be selected autmatically in darwin...... hecker
I believe that command is useless since OSX automatically loads the partition set as active. Read here to find out how to configure the boot options properly: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=22844 Cheers, hecker Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/57505-rddisk0s2-not-effective/#findComment-411872 Share on other sites
