how to change administrator name

whats the quickest way to delete and or change just the administrators name on my imac and nothing else.And how to change it on my ppc g4 without a install disk

Well, you can't change a users name but you could just add a new user and register him/her to be in the administrator group. This is done in your "System Preferences"/Accounts.

 

If you want to keep all of your original users files you will have to copy the old users home directory contents over to the new users home, ie via-terminal : sudo cp /Users/_oldUser_ /Users/_newUser_
