Wayland Posted December 13, 2005 Share Posted December 13, 2005 Pro Tools 7 with Mbox 2 wasn't working with an 10.4.3, older build, and I will be testing it on 8f1111a once the thing gets done downloading. Pro Tools Installed OK, but then wouldn't give power to the unit, so pro tools never saw it. WaxTrax! Posted December 13, 2005 Share Posted December 13, 2005 I can 100% tell you that ProTools is not going to work on OSx86 until Digidesign releases OSx86 drivers for it. As I'm sure you know, PT (all versions) is a hardware and software combination, which means that while the software itself would probably run on OSx86, it requires the ProTools/M-Audio hardware, and that isn't going to happen until drivers are written for it. And if I know Digidesign well enough, it'll probably be 6+ months AFTER the official OSx86 is released before they around to supporting it.
