e.gregor
Hello all, I'm using an external USB-drive (Lacie 250 gb) to backup my whole system with SuperDuper. Though SuperDuper advises to use a Firewire(!)-Drive. If I try to boot from my backup-file (which is listed in the system preferences under starting volumes) it doesn't work - probably because of the usb-connection. Thus my question is if it's my only option to buy a new drive (firewire) or if there is any other opportunity, maybe an adapter from usb to firewire or similar solutions? I would much appreciate your help, thanks gregor
OSXtasy
I USE and BOOT from my bootable clones using USB drives and Carbon Copy Cloner(On my MBP and my MacPro), so I'd say try that, since it's free.
