Maximus Arelius
Is there a possible way to have 2 monitors running on 2 different graphics cards and still get dual display on Mac OS X? I have an ATI Radeon 9250 and a Nvidia Geforce FX 5500 the Nvidia has Core Image/Quartz Extream supported. I know that ATi 9200 based cards cant get Core Image and Quartz Extream but i just wanna run another monitor on the ATI card. Both use PCI BUS, the Nvidia has 256MB and the ATI has 128MB and if anyone can show me how to load the Callisto kext for 9250 cards and put in the device ID in the kext that would be great. sarahbau
You only waited two hours from your original post to complain about not getting an answer? I don't think anyone has successfully gotten two video cards of different manufacturer to work together. I tried with an ATI X800 and nVidia 7600GT, and could only get one or the other to work. If you just need two monitors, your best bet would be to get a cheap dual head card that is supported in osx86.
