dcbckup
I am running xp on my macbook because i have no tiger disc and xp happened to boot up fine from holding option at startup. so i am on xp now and have a tiger.dmg image and tiger.parseimage. I don't know how to burn this so I can install tiger. I have a 10.4.9 disc and an early 2006 macbook. The disc will not install and gives me an error saying cannot install on this computer. In event log it says cannot interpret efi bootable disk. I bought the macbook used and i know that disc is incorrect but i do not know if that is my problem. I tried doing a vmware osx86 on xp but didn't work.. Please help me. all I need is a .iso or something i can burn in windows.
SpeedfreaK
simply change .dmg into .iso and burn it! (what kind of os x dvd do you have, i suppose it's not a hackintosh one. You should get a dvd for real macs )
