dcbckup Posted July 13, 2007 Share Posted July 13, 2007 I wiped my drive and now have a bad osx disc and cannot install osx and have a paperweight macbook core duo. I have a pc only that cannot run osx... How can i accomplish what I am asking? I have a tiger dmg cd and a leopard .parseimage. I am just trying to get something to run so I can be operational. Please help me... I cannot afford to buy a $129 new tiger disc. If not, it may be possible to download Tiger 10.4.x DVD-ROM Install Disk for your MacBook. sarahbau Posted July 13, 2007 Share Posted July 13, 2007 He doesn't need the torrent. He said he already has a .dmg. He just wants to burn it on a PC. You can try changing the .dmg extension to .iso and burning on the PC. Probably won't work, but worth a shot. As Danyel said though, you can probably have Apple send you new restore discs for your MacBook for a small fee.
