Evidence
Hey all, Just a quick question to see if anyone had tried to install an Airport Extreme into a Thinkpad / T60p / any other hardware, and if they had any luck with it. Also, if you have, I was wondering what the windows compatibility is like. Thanks in advance. Or, even better, has anyone used a USB wireless adaptor that has worked in a Hackintosh? I would love to hear any success stories from that. P.S. - I am doing this because I am frustrated with not having my wireless work for the 3945 Intel Wireless Card. - josh Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56837-airport-extreme-in-a-t60p-usb-wireless-adaptor/ Share on other sites

riws
If you have a PCMCIA slot, then get a Airport compatible card with Broadcom chipset, like this from Buffalo, wli-cb-g54 http://www.buffalotech.com/products/wirele...tebook-adapter/ Its an AirPort Extreme clone for osx Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56837-airport-extreme-in-a-t60p-usb-wireless-adaptor/#findComment-407342 Share on other sites
