SkanknGangsta Posted July 11, 2007 Share Posted July 11, 2007 I burned uphuck 1.2 to a DVD and burned at x6, and even Double checked the burn. I boot up my computer and get to a screen where it tells me to press any key to install max os x and when I do: it gives me that error. wtf. this is my third time trying to install this {censored} and it never works. and nobody here seems to know what the problem is.. could anybody help me with this one? just this once. sandni99a Posted July 11, 2007 Share Posted July 11, 2007 I was having the same problem until I found out that the jmicron ide controller was causing the issue. So I jerry-rigged my 3.5" usb enclosure and plugged my internal DVDrw drive in it. Then I went into the bios to boot from my usb-dvd frankenstien drive and it worked.
