besby11
Hello People of the Forum!, Instead of dual booting on my main comp I decided to build a Comp to be compleatly devoted to OS X86 and in the drought of the ideal boards (915gl) ive found this board and my thought with the board is its a 915G-M and its only one letter away from the ideal 915G-L is this thinking logical? ECS 915G-M Intel Socket 775 MicroATX Motherboard / Audio / Video / PCI Express / Gigabit LAN / USB 2.0 / Serial ATA (its on tigerdirect.com if your enterested) Now, this aint the only board im set on buying if theres another board of the 775 chipset that you know is compatible please post it.My goal is compatibility id love to have usb audio video sata etc out of the box IF YOU HAVE A BOARD LIKE THIS PLEASE POST IT IM LOOKING TO BUY! p.s the prossessor im going to use is a pentium d 940 is this a good prossessor im not shure because most of the time i use amd on my systems xXhUntEr_-_bAkErXx Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56681-picking-the-best-mobo-for-os-x86/ Share on other sites

vlad1966
I vote for the Abit IP-35 Pro (see my sig ) - It installed on first try with JaS 10.4.8. Then a couple of simple tweaks for Ethernet & 2-channel audio & you're good to go. You get the latest chipset, tons of great feaqtures in the BIOS, great overclocking, plus support for future 45nm Intel chips.
