Quadstian Intellas
I'm about to take the jump and attempt installing OSX on my new Intel Core 2 Quad PC. One of the main reasons is for running Pro Tools as it's more stable in an Apple enviroment. I'm currently recording with an MBOX [original], upgrading to a D002 soon. Has anyone successfully done this? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56672-pro-tools-69-or-73-on-osx86/ Share on other sites
DrSupachicken
Hi Mate, I have a topic on this in the audio section. You will need at least a copy of 7.1.1 that was the first unibin. 10.4.9 can be trouble with ProTools. I first installed 10.4.8 and it worked perfectly! Then I upgraded to 10.4.9 using the delta upgrade and ProTools wouldn't boot, so I had to then upgrade to 10.4.10 and it now works awesome. My hackintosh is in my sig and I'm running ProTools of a M-Box 2 Mini. If your looking at buying a new interface trying go for the 003 over a 002. Have fun. Quadstian Intellas
Thanks! I'll definetly check out the the previous topic. I am only getting the 002 because a mate of mine is buying the 003 and selling me his 002 and a pre-amp for cheap--go figure! Thanks for the info.
