blade007 Posted July 8, 2007 Share Posted July 8, 2007 I have done a few searchs but no managed to find out what I need to know. Anyway I have noticed people saying there nVidia 7400 works with QE/CI enabled. What is QE/CI and how do I enable it. Every time I do an install from the uphuck 10.4.9 v1.3 disk it justs loads to a blank screen if I add any of the nVidia drivers. If I dont install any of the drivers for nVidia it loads but the resolution is set wrong and there are no other options. I have also just tried to edit the com.apple.Boot.plist and added <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1280×800×32</string> but it still doesnt load at the selected resolution and would probably be better if I could get it working with one of the drivers. P.S You need to apply "Titan" from installation DVD. I guess I will just live without the nVidia driver for now and just have the wrong resolution while im playing around. I am sure I have seen reports of people saying they have it running at the screens native resolution of 1280x800 which is the same as my laptop screen. Just so I can play around a bit more and experiment what is this QE/CI that people keep talking about and how do you enable it.
