asdorel
Athlon xp 2000+ does not support sse2, so you can't install os x Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/565-os-x-new-install-guide/#findComment-3376 Share on other sites
AgentOrange
My main PC is an Athlon XP 2500+, I'm in the same boat. OS X is quite dependent on the SSE2 instruction set, it appears to be quite impossible to make it work on anything less than an Athlon64. However, my $400 Dell POS sitting in the corner as a file server with it's Celeron supports SSE2 ... love the irony Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/565-os-x-new-install-guide/#findComment-3411 Share on other sites
