alexPL
Hi, I have some major problems with sound with ALC882 + Intel i945. The sound works after installing one of the patches available (Apple HDA 0.4b), but it sounds really choppy. Is there a solution for it? I am using Pentium D 805 with Gigabyte GA-8I945P Pro motherboard. According to DPCIManager, the soundcard is "82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller" with "8086:27d8" ID. In a few minutes I will try to change something with FSB - maybe it will help. alexPL
OK, I disabled some overclocking function in BIOS which probably stabilized FSB frequency and the sound is not choppy anymore, but there are still problems - for example the sound is stopping for a moment when I am... deleting the file.
