tgg Posted July 7, 2007 Share Posted July 7, 2007 when I click "Unknown OS or I actually renamed it to Mac OSX" in the Acronis OS Selector menu it will boot windows instead of OSX. Any have a fix? cbmkgd Posted July 7, 2007 Share Posted July 7, 2007 in the os selector menu, select the osx icon ('unknown system'), go in Properties>partitions, and check the Active box for the partition where osx is installed. (the problem was that when you select osx to boot, its bootloader will boot by default the active partition, and if that one is still xp's, it will boot xp; you could have pressed F8 to get the darwin boot menu to chose osx again, but it's better that way; I've given you two other methods that don't use os selector in your other thread if you prefer.)
