sasi_10
Hi , I am downloading the Leopard WWDC'07 DVD which is around 6GB. The file is currently under .dmg extension and all the instructions for installing leopard points to installing via Mac boot disk. Is there way to burn the file from Windows ? thanks in advance , Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56276-how-to-install-leopard-dvd-from-windows/ Share on other sites
Rakete
shure, you need a program named MacDisk in the latest version, which you can find on the green demon. Guest Ramm
You _do_ have a Mac, right? You need to have a real one to install onto (yes, this is obvious for most people Colonel, but some people don't realize it ) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56276-how-to-install-leopard-dvd-from-windows/#findComment-402213 Share on other sites
djj3w
yes. you do need apple hardware right now. Minimum cpu without modding the OSInstall mpkg is 800mhz G4 , I have a digital audio 733mhz and i installed on it with modified OSInstall.mpkg, definitely needs more ram and say... oohh about an extra GIGAHERT in cpu super nice looking OS! i'm very happy and excited for final version (and a 32 meg geforce2 ain't coverin it either ) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56276-how-to-install-leopard-dvd-from-windows/#findComment-407427 Share on other sites
