dutchiee (= Posted July 4, 2007 Share Posted July 4, 2007 Heyy all ok well ive stumbled into a problem, and the forums havent helped lol. Basicly what is happening is my IOUSBFamily.kext aint loading.. so i was advised to get the one from 10.4.3. so searched the forums about and many people have said search the bay of pirates for 10.4.3 essentials.. i did to no avail as noone was uploading so i was stuck. i then found another post where someone uploaded a file i think i needed to sendspace.. but i just keep looping and looping.. so i stopped trying. is there anyone out there willing to send me this one file please??? i mean i cant use my mac without the file as i cant even boot to a GUI, since the install i havent been able to get past the register the keyboard bit. another thing i dont understand is that the Darwin boot loader works fine with my PS2 keyboard, and my USB one except it dont like it in the os? if anyone could show me where to actually obtain the file i would be forever gratefull! dutchiee (= Posted July 4, 2007 Author Share Posted July 4, 2007 oh and a quick edit, i did check the apple USB developer website and downloaded the DMG file, although this file is said to fix things, i cannot to boot into GUI to mount the image and install the update. is there a way to install the dmg contents from Single user command line?
