leon_g101
Hi all, I posted a topic a few weeks ago regarding my issues installing the Jas 10.4.8 SSE3 DVD. According to some people's advice, I applied the Jmicron patch to the iso file and reburnt it. Instead of receiving the "Still waiting for root device" error in the installation, I now receive the error where it cannot find com.apple.boot.plist (or something similar). Again, my hardware configuration is as follows: -Asus P5VD2-MX Motherboard -Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 CPU -180GB Samsung SP2004C SATA Hard Drive -nVidia 7300GS Video Card -Onboard sound card -Pioneer DVD-RW DVR111D drive -1GB DDR2 RAM I am really hoping to get OSX working, but it seems to be hopeless...can anyone suggest a reason as to why it cannot work? Thanks in advance. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56019-problems-installing-jas-osx86-1048-on-asus-p5vd2-mx-motherboard/ Share on other sites
Detosx
Hi Leon. I don't know if you have tried uphuck's OS X, the latest intel release. From what I read, I am hopeful it will work with Sata on our motherboard but haven't had time to try it, yet.
