No, OiNK isnt going away, only the Me.Uk part of the name. The new site will be called OiNK.CD, but everything, including the IP address of the tracker and server will be retained.

Because of the recent DNS issues, and the undesirable solution to fix them, we are changing the site's name from OiNK.me.uk to OiNK.cd.

The OiNK.me.uk domain will soon cease to function, and a full changeover will happen shortly. Please update your bookmarks.

Please also re-download any torrents you may have in your clients in order to update the tracker address. Torrents downloaded from now on will contain 2 tracker addresses, the new OiNK.cd domain, and the tracker's IP address, which should make any future DNS issues less serious. They will also contain the site's IP address in the torrent comment field, in case of future problems.

Sorry about the inconvenience, but we deem the name change necessary for the continuation of the site.

Pretty much self explanatory, and understandable, but its gonna be kinda annoying redownloading all those torrents :(

(I hope a scared a few of you  )

EDIT: For those of you who applied the hosts file patch, I hear you can leave it and still use the same torrent files along with the new ones without a problem because of the retention of the original IP addresses.

Awe, I kind of like the me.uk, it looked so cute with the name it self...

Hmm, what does the domain .cd even stand for? Like a country or group?

It seems its the Congo...(quick googling)

Dot-CD Registrations Suspended

Administration of the .cd top-level domain suffix (The Congo) is currently changing hands. Therefore applications for .cd domain names are unfortunately temporarily on hold. We will inform you as soon as the registry is up and running again and update you if there are any changes to .cd registration procedures.
